PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a sufficient removal of solvent without making a size of a drier large.SOLUTION: A drier 5 is a drier for drying a band-like electrode member 11 formed by coating active material mixture containing solvent on a metal foil 10. This drier comprises a drying chamber 50 for defining the drying region; a concentration detection part 55 for detecting concentration of the solvent evaporated at the drying chamber 50 and outputting a detected value indicating the detected concentration; a plurality of pass-rollers 57 for defining a transferring passage of the band-like electrode member 11 in the drying chamber 50; a position changing part 58 for changing a position of the pass roller 57b in the plurality of pass rollers 57 to a direction in which a length of the transferring passage of the band-like electrode member 11 is increased or decreased; and a control part 60 for receiving the detected value from the concentration detecting part 55 and controlling the position changing part 58.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
