PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module, the atmosphere in the vicinity of a safety valve of which is not diluted by a cooling fluid, when a battery cell is abnormal and the safety valve is cleaved.SOLUTION: A battery module 1 includes a battery cell 2 having a housing 3 covering the battery body from the outside, and a safety valve 11 provided to close a through hole 13 formed in the housing 3 and discharging gas from the inside of the housing 3 to the outside via the through hole 13 when the gas is generated from the battery body, a housing case 22 for housing the battery cell 2 and distributing a cooling fluid C around the battery cell 2, and a lid 32 provided in the housing case 22, and closing the interconnection state of the inside and outside of the housing 3, formed by the safety valve 11, when the pressure of the gas discharged to the outside of the housing 3 via the safety valve 11 goes to or below a predetermined pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
