The present invention relates to a pet food comprising powdered red shale and methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM), and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a pet food and a manufacturing method thereof, in which the pet food is prepared to contain red shale which is an inorganic material, and MSM which is an edible sulfur. The deodorizing effect of red shale minimizes the odor of excrements, and the MSM lends an antibacterial function to the pet food, thereby increasing its storability, and boosting the immune system when ingested, to facilitate healthier rearing of pet dogs, cats and small animals. |
