PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die cushion device and a control method for the same, capable of achieving two rounds of press molding at one press cycle, improving the efficiency of press molding, and achieving energy saving without increasing the size or the price of the device.SOLUTION: The die cushion device includes position controllers 316 and 326 for controlling the position of a cushion pad by controlling a hydraulic machine for supplying hydraulic pressure to the die cushion pressure generation chamber of a hydraulic cylinder, and pressure controllers 318 and 328 for controlling pressure in the die cushion pressure generation chamber of the hydraulic cylinder. Particularly during the rising process of the slide of a press machine, the position control of the position controller 326 and the pressure control of the pressure controller 328 are carried out in a switching manner, and thus press molding is enabled even during the rising process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
