PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator that facilitates maintenance of operation heat generating equipment generating heat during an operation.SOLUTION: An escalator of one example includes: endless footsteps which are provided in a section between upper and lower entrances, including an intermediate inclined part; a main control part that includes a footstep driving part for driving the footsteps; a frame body that surrounds the footsteps; and an intermediate control part which is provided within the frame body and on the outside lateral surface of the intermediate inclined part of the footsteps, which is connected to the main control part, and in which operation heat generating equipment generating heat during an operation is built.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
