PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate, which is a thin polarizing plate (more specifically, a polarizing plate with a protective film disposed only on one side of a polarizer) and which can prevent degradation in a member to be stuck to the polarizing plate.SOLUTION: The polarizing plate of the present invention includes a linearly polarized light separation film, a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer or a first adhesive layer, a polarizing film, a protective film, and a second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in this order. The polarizing film has a thickness of 15 μm or less. The second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed from a second pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing a monomer. The content percentage of an acid monomer in the second pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is 2 parts by weight or less with respect to 100 parts by weight of the whole monomers in the second pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
