PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of collecting fine particles to facilitate replacement of a filter.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an apparatus body that has a door; a fixing unit that is provided inside the apparatus body and applies heat and pressure to a sheet having a toner image formed thereon to fix the toner image to the sheet; a filter 310 that is provided in the fixing unit and collects fine particles generated during the application of heat and pressure by the fixing unit; and a rotational axis 331, projecting shaft 341, filter case 342, and tension spring 343 that move the filter 310 between a fine particle removing position (position in use and position to collect dust) and a replacement position of the filter 310.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
