PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connection structure capable of optically coupling a multi-core fiber and a plurality of single-core fibers together while suppressing variation in a connection characteristic.SOLUTION: An optical fiber connection structure 1A is provided with: a multi-core fiber 10; a fiber bundle 20 comprising a plurality of single-core fibers 21 being bonded together by an adhesive; a first lens 30 optically coupled with an end surface 10a of the multi-core fiber 10; and a second lens 40 optically coupled with an end surface 20a of the fiber bundle 20. The first lens 30 and the second lens 40 are optically coupled with each other. A diameter of a light propagating between the first lens 30 and the second lens 40 is larger than a diameter of a light at each of the end surfaces 10a, 20a of the multi-core fiber 10 and the fiber bundle 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
