PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visibility calculator capable of reducing the calculation order and time required for calculating elevation angle for obtaining a coverage in a visibility calculation in a quick response system which calculates an elevation angles from an observation point to a visibility limit point and performs comparison processing of elevation angles, and which is capable of solving a conventional problem that, defining the number of mesh points is n, the calculation order is O(n2) for each observation order resulting in a considerably long time for calculation if the mesh interval is small.SOLUTION: The visibility calculator reduces the number of calculation objects by determining images which are overlapping with each other to reduce the calculation amount, and performs a visibility calculation using a sort algorithm to reduce the calculation order in a visibility calculation from O(n2) to O(nlogn). With this, the coverage can be obtained more swiftly than conventional ones.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
