PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric valve for opening or closing a valve under utilization of displacement of a lamination layer type piezoelectric element in which there is no possibility that broken pieces of the lamination layer type piezoelectric element are blown out together with compressed gas at the time of its use and there is no possibility that even in its use under a high humidity environment no moisture immerses into the lamination layer type piezoelectric element to cause its life to be shortened.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a piezoelectric valve for opening or closing a valve under utilization of displacement of a lamination layer type piezoelectric element comprising: a valve main body having a gas pressure chamber for receiving compressed gas supplied from outside; and an actuator which has a valve body, a lamination layer type piezoelectric element generating a driving force required for operation of the valve body while being displaced and has a displacement expanding mechanism for expanding a displacement of the lamination layer type piezoelectric element and acting it against the valve body, and which is disposed within the valve main body. The lamination layer type piezoelectric element has its surface covered by polyolefin resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
