PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine which can secure a sufficient relative rotation angle between a housing and a vane rotor by miniaturizing a shoe in a rotation direction.SOLUTION: In an outer periphery area of a first bolt insertion hole 21a formed through a first shoe 21 in an axial direction, a positioning groove 28 for positioning relative to a housing body 25 in a circumferential direction of a rear plate 27 is cut out in a form of continuing from an inner peripheral side of the first bolt insertion hole 21a to an outer peripheral side of the housing body 25, so as to overlap with the first bolt insertion hole 21a in a radial direction of the housing body 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
