PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a conventional beveling processor generates a lag in workpieces clamped under a large cutting load to thereby invite a decrease in processing precision, and to further invite break of a beveling cutter or damage of a machine, and that the working efficiency is poor because of handling with a heavy workpiece.SOLUTION: A turntable 3 is provided which is driven by swiveling on a horizontal plane, and a short length workpiece W is attached and fixed on this turntable 3 with one end mounted on the turntable 3, and the other end opened upward. Cutter holders 17a, 17b including beveling processing cutters 19a, 19b and copy rollers 20a, 20b are operated in a horizontal direction to perform beveling processing. Projecting clamp pieces 8, 8 are disposed on the turntable 3 to actuate these clamp pieces 8, 8 by approaching and separating in accordance with the inner peripheral face of the short length workpiece W, thereby attaching and fixing the short length workpiece W on the turntable 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
