PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a travel time while securing required torque, and to also secure transport capacity by one monorail travel device, by traveling on a horizontal monorail and an inclined monorail by one monorail travel device.SOLUTION: An induction motor is constituted in two coil groups different in pole number, is constituted so that electrically driven output from one coil group is larger in torque while lower in speed than the other coil group, is constituted so that electrically driven output from the other coil group is smaller in torque while higher in speed than the one coil group, and is constituted so that horizontal travel on a monorail is executed by the electrically driven output from the other coil group and inclined travel of an up-grade on the monorail is also executed by the electrically driven output from the one coil group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
