PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for excellent and efficient assembling of a desired fuel cell stack, by eliminating especially tightening structural components.SOLUTION: In an assembling method of a fuel cell stack 10, a half of fuel cells 12, a second terminal plate 14b, a second insulating plate 16b and a second end plate 18b are laminated on a base plate 64 via a reference shim member 24a. Subsequently, the length h of the fuel cells 12 thus laminated is measured in the lamination direction. Overall length of the laminate is estimated from this length h, and the thickness of the reference shim member 24a is set based on the overall length of the laminate thus estimated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
