PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of reducing a dead volume formed at a downstream side of a fuel seat portion, and improving a flow rate of fuel flowing into the fuel injection hole.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve includes: a valve seat member 15 having a valve seat 15b and a fuel introduction hole 15e formed at a downstream side of the valve seat 15b and penetrating a lower end face 15t; a valve element 17 opening and closing a fuel passage in cooperation with the valve seat 15b; and a nozzle member 21n having fuel injection holes 110-3, 110-8 formed at a radial outer part than an inner peripheral face of the fuel introduction hole 15e, and fixed to the lower end face 15t. In the fuel injection valve, the nozzle member 21n has a projecting portion 21na, and a fuel diffusion chamber 21a for allowing the fuel to flow toward the radial outer part is formed at an inner side of the projecting portion 21na. A projecting portion 17c is formed on a tip portion of the valve element 17, and the projecting portion 17c is projected to a fuel diffusion chamber 21a side while penetrating the fuel introduction hole 15e in closing the valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
