PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus including a cleaning device that can prevent accumulation of toner and paper powder at both ends of a recovery roller and securely prevent backflow of toner with a sealing member.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 10 includes a rotary brush 33, a recovery roller 35, a cleaning blade 37, and a sealing member 41 that is in contact with the recovery roller 35 to prevent backflow of toner. The sealing member 41 extends on the outside of both ends in the axial direction of the recovery roller 35 and is supported by a side sealing member 43 to be lifted up to the recovery roller 35 side on the outside by 8 mm of a position R1 corresponding to both side edges in the width direction of a maximum width paper feed area R on an intermediate transfer belt 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
