PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an angle non-linearity error specific to a rotation angle sensor and the angle non-linearity error occurring when the rotation angle sensor is assembled.SOLUTION: A calibration method of a rotation angle sensor detects a magnetic field in an X-axis direction on an X-Y plane, and a magnetic field in a Y-axis direction thereon, and detects a rotation angle on the X-Y plane of a rotation magnet rotating around a rotation axis. The calibration method of the rotation angle sensor and program are provided that comprise: an installation stage of installing the rotation angle sensor on the X-Y plane; a magnetic field application stage of, on the X-Y plane, applying to the rotation angle sensor the magnetic fields in N directions (N is an integer equal to three or more) different by an angle obtained by dividing a 360-degree angle into N equal angles, respectively; an acquisition stage of acquiring an output signal to be output in response to each application of the magnetic field in the N direction thereto; a calculation stage of calculating a calibration parameter calibrating the rotation angle sensor on the basis of the output signal; and a storage stage of causing a storage unit of the rotation angle sensor to store the calibration parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
