PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device which is suitable for ensuring a bed side space while exerting a walking assistance function of a user.SOLUTION: A handrail device comprises an installation substrate 2, a support post 4 erected on the installation substrate 2, and a handrail body 5 attached to an upper end of the support post 4. A base part of the handrail body 5 is pivotably attached to the upper end of the support post 4 within a predetermined angle range. A user walks integrally with the handrail body 5 while gripping and rotating the handrail body 5, and thus safety of walking is ensured. A variation width at the position of the tip part of the handrail body 5 can be widened by rotating the handrail body 5. Therefore, for example, when the handrail device is installed between a bed 20 and a toilet device 30 installed on the side thereof, the bed 20 and the toilet device 30 can be arranged separately, thereby suppressing aversion of a visitor to the toilet device 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
