PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording body excellent in recording color development and recording image quality, having no inhibition of a coloring reaction by an additive component after being processed to a thermosensitive recording label (gum reducing feeling) and excellent in recording performance with preservation for a long period.SOLUTION: There is provided thermosensitive recording body having at least an anchor layer containing a sizing agent and a water resistant agent and a thermosensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a coloring agent on the anchor layer on a supporting body consisting of a paper supporting body. The sizing agent is preferably contains at 0.5 to 5 pts.mass in terms of solid component to 1 pts.mass of the water resistant agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
