PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording apparatus which suppresses the occurrence of peeling-off of an image even if a printing speed is 10 to 50 m/min, and an ink-jet recording method.SOLUTION: An ink-jet recording apparatus comprises: an ink for ink-jet recording which comprises at least a colorant, polymer particles, an aqueous organic solvent, and water, has a dynamic surface tension at 1 msec after of 32 mN/m or less, a dynamic surface tension at 1 sec after of less than 30 mN/m, and a width of variations in dynamic surface tension, for a period from 1 msec after to 1 sec after, in the range from 0.2 mN/m or more and 3.0 mN/m or less, when examined for dynamic surface tension by the maximum bubble pressure method; and discharge means for discharging droplets of the ink to a recording medium, where the ink-jet recording apparatus has a recording speed of 10 to 50 m/min.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
