PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen an illumination representation by effectively utilizing a surplus component of a total rating current value.SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 includes: a plurality of light-emitting devices (LED 10R, 10G and 10B) with different luminous colors for illuminating an object to be illuminated; a control part 40 for controlling current values to be supplied to the light-emitting devices; and an operation part 60 which performs an illumination color change operation for changing an illumination color in which the object to be illuminated is illuminated. In the case where a total of the current values to be supplied to the light-emitting devices is defined as a total current value, in response to the illumination color change operation, the control part 40 sets the current values in such a manner that the total current value does not exceed a predetermined total limit current value and, when setting a current value to be supplied to at least one light-emitting device to a value smaller than a limit current value that is obtained by equally dividing the total limit current value with the number of lines of the light-emitting devices, can set a current value to be supplied to the other light-emitting device to a value greater than the limit current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
