PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent edge chips from being clogged at an edge of a thin steel sheet after shearing.SOLUTION: A side trim device includes: a pair of an upper blade and a lower blade for performing side trimming of a steel plate; and a load member for applying load on at least one of the upper blade and the lower blade during trimming the steel plate in a direction where a gap between the upper blade and the lower blade in a lateral direction of the steel plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
