PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can solve inconvenience for a user caused by uninstalling an extension application provided with trial limitation easily at low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus capable of installing an extension application for extending functions, the image forming apparatus including: acquisition means for acquiring, from extension program information corresponding to the extension application, processing information related to predetermined details of processing to be executed when trial limitation of the installed extension application is exceeded; execution means for executing processing according to the details of processing indicated in the processing information acquired by the acquisition means; and uninstallation means for uninstalling the extension application after the processing is executed by the execution means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 24 |
