PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to transmit power by using a power transmission path (power supply path) having high power utilization efficiency between clusters (users).SOLUTION: A power transmission system having a plurality of power transmission paths that are insulated from each other and are capable of power transmission for a section between predetermined points comprises: a selection unit for selecting, from the plurality of power transmission paths, a first power transmission path for a first section and a second power transmission path for a second section so that a power transmission cost obtained by summing up a power transmission cost in using the first power transmission path and a power transmission cost in using the second power transmission path, is reduced; and a control unit for performing control so that power transmission for the first section and that for the second section are performed by the first power transmission path and second power transmission path selected by the selection unit, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
