PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas supply system capable of achieving stable gas burning by supplying a diesel engine with fuel gas in a required temperature range even immediately after a start-up of gas operation.SOLUTION: A gas supply system 10A which supplies a gas burning diesel engine with gas comprises: a tank 11 which stores liquefied gas; a high pressure pump 12 which increases pressure of the liquefied gas; a carburetor 13 which vaporizes the liquefied gas by heating the same; a first supply piping 31 to introduce the liquefied gas from the tank to the high pressure pump; a second supply piping 32 to introduce the liquefied gas from the high pressure pump to the carburetor; a third supply piping 33 to introduce vaporized gas from the carburetor to the diesel engine 2; a discharge piping 71 branched from the third supply piping; a discharge valve 72 which is installed on the discharge piping, opened during preheating operation before gas operation of the diesel engine and closed during the gas operation; and preheating fuel supply mechanisms 41 and 42 which supply the second supply piping with the liquefied gas in the tank or boil-off gas in the tank in order to heat the same with the carburetor during the preheating operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
