PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device enabling a normal processor core to execute arithmetic processing of a processor core having got out of order in the same processing timing as processing timing of arithmetic processing by the processor core having got out of order when the processor core having got out order is switched to the normal processor core.SOLUTION: When a normal processor core executes arithmetic processing of a processor core having got out of order as a substitute, the normal processor core finds an elapsed time between fault detection timing at which a fault is detected and processing timing of the arithmetic processing of the faulty processor core before the fault detection timing, finds a difference time by subtracting the elapsed time from a time of an execution period of the arithmetic processing of the faulty processor core, and determines new timing, obtained by adding the difference time based upon the fault detection timing as an origin, as substitute processing timing of the arithmetic processing of the faulty processor core. The arithmetic processing can be executed by the normal processor core in the same processing timing with the processor core before the fault, and normal substitute arithmetic processing can be performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
