PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of luminance unevenness caused by an interference fringe.SOLUTION: A light source device includes: a light source that emits a light beam; and a microlens array 170 on which the light beam from the light source is projected. The microlens array 170 has a plurality of microlenses 172 two-dimensionally arranged on an xy plane. Each microlens 172 has a quadrangular shape having two pairs of opposites sides each parallel to an x axis and a y axis. The quadrangular shapes of the plurality of microlenses 172 have a same size. Microlenses 172 adjacent along the x axis are arranged without deviation along the y axis. Microlenses 172 adjacent along the y axis are arranged with deviation along the x axis. A spot of a light beam on the microlens array crosses the plurality of microlenses adjacent along the y axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
