PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the axial length of a torsion bar while securing sufficient precision of a torque sensor.SOLUTION: A torsion bar 23c can secure a length long enough for the torsion bar 23c to return by having a multiple structure by connecting a first shaft part 60, a first cylinder part 61, a second cylinder part 62, and a second shaft part respectively. Consequently, a length in an axis "m" direction can be set to be short while detection precision of a torque sensor 50 is secured. Consequently, a vehicle with EPS has a large degree of freedom of arrangement. Further, spring constants of the first shaft part 60, first cylinder part 61, second cylinder part 62, and second shaft part can be set to be equal through a first hole part 68 and a second hole part 69 provided in side faces of the first cylinder part 61 and second cylinder part 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
