PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new chain metal particle suitable for a conductive material.SOLUTION: A chain metal particle is formed by linking metal particles having an average particle diameter (D) in a range of 1-150 nm. Linkage parts (neck parts) of the metal particles are planarly connected at 3 or more connecting points, and the average number of linked metal particles is 3 or more. The ratio, (D)/(D), of the diameter of a linkage part cross section (D) to the average particle diameter (D) is 0.02 or more. The chain metal particle is formed of metal of at least one element selected from Group 11, Group 13, Group 14, Group 6, and Groups 8-10, or an alloy or a mixture thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
