PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check a quality of an article to enable processing upon implementing a registration of an article in a commercial transaction.SOLUTION: An article registration device 2 photographing an article by use of imaging means to thereby implement a registration of the article in a commercial transaction, the article registration device comprises: a quality determination unit 65 that determines a quality of the article from an imaging picture photographed by the imaging means; and a quality processing unit 66 that implement corresponding processing about the quality of the article on the basis of the determination result of the quality determination unit 65.
