PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent paper high in transparency, excellent in dimensional stability to temperature change and hardly generating unevenness even humidity changes.SOLUTION: The transparent paper is a transparent paper having opacity defined by JIS P8138 of 20% or less and contains pulp having following irregular freeness of 100 to 600 ml and colloidal silica having average particle diameter of 30 nm or less with the percentage content of the colloidal silica of 1.0 to 30 mass%. The irregular freeness: freeness measured by changing pulp collection amount from 3 g to 0.3 g and changing a JIS specification screen plate to a 80 mesh wire in a Canada standard freeness degree method defined in JIS P8121.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
