PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter display control unit capable of reducing an unnatural change of a meter while maintaining response of an engine rotating speed displayed on the meter.SOLUTION: An ECU 800 switches a target value NeMt displayed on a meter from an estimated engine rotating speed NeE corresponding to a gear position after shifting to a detected engine rotating speed detected by an engine-rotating-speed sensor 400 when a shift starting condition for downshifting is satisfied and a vehicle station transition occurs from a driving state in which an engine 100 drives a vehicle to a driven state in which the engine 100 is driven by the vehicle or when a shift starting condition for upshifting is satisfied and a vehicle state transition occurs from the driven state to the driving state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
