PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter display control unit capable of reducing an unnatural change of a meter while maintaining response of an engine rotating speed displayed on the meter.SOLUTION: An ECU 800 calculates an estimated rotating speed NeE of an engine 100 by adding up a correction amount ΔN in response to a state of a torque converter 200 and a turbine rotating speed Nt(G-1) corresponding to a gear position after shifting and exerts a control such that a rotating speed NeM displayed on a meter follows up the estimated rotating speed NeE when a shift starting condition for an automatic transmission 300 is satisfied. The ECU 800 fixes the correction amount ΔN to a value at a time of determination of shift start when a fixing condition including one that the engine 100 is driven from the torque converter 200 side is satisfied. Preferably, a difference between the engine rotating speed Ne and the turbine rotating speed Nt can be used for the correction amount ΔN.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
