PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system or the like by which, when an option function is not used, input processing of image data can be performed with a high performance by effectively utilizing a packaged memory and even when using the option function, it is not necessary to install additional memories.SOLUTION: A memory region for an option program required for executing all the option functions which are set in an effective state by setting means is secured in main memory means 107 and further, as a memory region for image input for storing the encoded image data, a memory region that is smaller in comparison with the case where the option functions are in an ineffective state is secured in the main memory means 107.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
