PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a return loss and to improve radiation efficiency in a planar antenna element including laminated two patches.SOLUTION: A planar antenna element PA1 includes: a first patch UP1; and a second patch LP1 which is laminated on the first patch UP1 and the feeding direction of which is orthogonal to that of the first patch UP1 within a plane. A size of the second patch LP1 in a direction parallel to the feeding direction of the first patch UP1 is larger than that of the first patch UP1 in a direction parallel to the feeding direction of the first patch UP1, and a size of the second patch LP1 in a direction parallel to the feeding direction of the first patch UP1 is larger than a size of the second patch LP1 in a direction parallel to the feeding direction of the second patch LP1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
