PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 3D authentication system and a 3D authentication device that are capable of authenticating a remittee on the basis of the shape of a 3D figure.SOLUTION: In a 3D authentication system, a service provider creates a 3D figure including, e.g., an additive figure having a unique shape as authentication information for authenticating a remittee, on the basis of a figure creation request including remittance information regarding a remitter. Then, the remittance information created by the remitter and the authentication information are associated with each other and delivered to the remittee. The remittee brings the delivered 3D figure to a banking institution and has the shape of the brought figure scanned by a 3D scanner installed in the banking institution. The banking institution authenticates the remittee by extracting the authentication information from shape data regarding the figure scanned by the 3D scanner and, if the authentication is successful, causes an automatic transaction device to output the amount of remittance and a message to the remittee.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
