PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin polarizing plate excellent in durability in a high temperature and high humidity environment.SOLUTION: A polarizing plate 100 includes a polarizing film 10 and a transparent protective layer 30 disposed on at least one surface of the polarizing film 10. The polarizing film 10 and the transparent protective layer 30 are laminated with a first adhesion layer 20 therebetween. The polarizing film 10 has a thickness of 10 μm or less, while the transparent protective layer 30 has a total thickness of six times or less as the thickness of the polarizing film 10. The transparent protective layer 30 has a moisture permeability of 200 g/m/24 hr or less. The first adhesive layer 20 has a bulk water absorption percentage of 10 wt.% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
