PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear device and a method of setting the planetary gear device, capable of properly setting arrangement positions of planetary gear sets while reducing the number of kinds of components.SOLUTION: A plurality of planetary gear sets 30 of a planetary gear device 1 are respectively unequally positioned around a center axis Ac.
