PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve the reliability of a memory system.SOLUTION: A write-control unit writes data in a storage unit which stores plural check matrixes each corresponding to the number of errors of the written data. A calculation unit, which is included in the storage unit, performs first error correction processing on the written data by using a check matrix selected from the plural check matrixes corresponding to the number of errors which are recognized in a step of the first error correction processing of the data written in the storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
