PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact protection element capable of improving a rating to meet a trend toward high rating of a lithium ion secondary battery and such and to provide a mounting body with a circuit board to which a protection element is mounted.SOLUTION: The protection element includes: an insulation substrate 10; an exothermic body 11, disposed at the insulation substrate 10; an exothermic body extraction electrode 13, electrically connected to the exothermic body 11; a pair of terminal parts 20, connected to an external circuit; and a soluble conductor 15, for cutting off a current path of the external circuit by the pair of terminal parts 20 being blowout.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
