PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus configured to include two opening/closing members, which is capable of interlocking an operation of opening a fixation space to the outside by each of the opening/closing members with the release of pressure force generated by a fixation device pressing a recording medium.SOLUTION: When a paper jam has occurred between a pressure roll 62 and a heating roll 60, nip force between the rolls is released by moving a first opening/closing member 92 at a closing position to an opening position. In the same manner, nip force between the rolls is released by moving a second opening/closing member 94 at a closing position to an opening position. In other words, in a configuration in which the two opening/closing members are provided, an operation of opening the inside of a housing 14 to the outside by each of the opening/closing members is interlocked with the release of nip force between the rolls.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
