PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which, when forming a bookbinding bundle with an insertion sheet inserted into an arbitrary page of a two-folded sheet bundle made by stacking image sheets, is capable of accurately allocating document images to be formed on the image sheets and insertion sheet according to the insertion page into which the insertion sheet is inserted.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an image formation apparatus applied to an image formation system, the image formation system comprising a finisher which forms a bookbinding bundle with an insertion sheet of a size of one half or less of an image sheet inserted into an arbitrary page of a two-folded sheet bundle, which comprises image sheets and an insertion sheet on which images corresponding to document images are formed, and which is made by stacking the image sheets. The image formation apparatus comprises: determination means for determining the order and orientation of document images to be formed on the image sheets and insertion sheet, depending upon the page of the bookbinding bundle into which the insertion sheet is inserted; and formation means for forming document images on the image sheets and insertion sheet according to the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9A |
