The present invention relates to a security system, and more specifically, to a security system and a control method thereof wherein various types of sensors and operating devices are connected to an IP/SIP/IMS gateway in a wired and a wireless manner to allow the IP/SIP/IMS gateway to analyze information sensed by the sensors to pan and tilt a lens to a sensor which has sensed abnormality information in addition to a function of the IP/SIP/IMS gateway for photographing and entry security to cover a wide range by the single IP/SIP/IMS gateway.
