Disclosed are a system and a method for calculating a correction cost for welding distortion. The objective of the present invention is to calculate a minimum correction cost for straightening in a short time with a relatively small capacity of system through a forced distortion analysis not a thermal distortion analysis. The system comprises: an out-of-plane distortion analysis module calculating the amount of out-of-plane distortion for components forming a component network by performing an analysis for out-of-plane distortion due to welding based on the component network of a subject; a correction amount determining module determining the amount of out-of-plane distortion of exceeding components of which the amount of out-of-plane distortion exceeds an allowance standard among the components; a forced distortion analysis module drawing a forced distortion rate for the components by changing a shape of the component network reflecting the amount of out-of-plane distortion into an initial state and forcibly deforming the exceeding components as much as the amount of out-of-plane distortion in the opposite direction to a direction of the out-of-plane distortion; a correction cost calculating module selecting a distortion rate corresponding to the forced distortion rate in a database storing distortion rate information by the thermal distortion analysis for each straightening condition, drawing the straightening condition corresponding to the selected distortion rate by the thermal distortion analysis and calculating the correction cost according to the drawn straightening condition.
