PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device capable of sufficiently cooling a light source part.SOLUTION: A light irradiation device comprises: a long light source part having a plurality of light emitting elements arranged side-by-side at the surface of a substrate installed along an opening for light irradiation inside a flat case formed with the opening for light irradiation at one end surface; and a heat sink arranged at a rear surface while being abutted against the rear surface of the substrate in the light source part. An inner side of the case is formed with a suction air flow passage where cooling air fed from the outside through a suction port formed at the case flows toward the heat sink. A suction air cooling fan is arranged at a position near the heat sink in the suction air flow passage. The suction port is formed at a peripheral surface other than one end surface and the other end surface opposing to each other at the case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
