PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques capable of incorporating a continuous fiber reinforced material with fused deposition modeling.SOLUTION: In fused deposition modeling, a fiber reinforced polymer part is fabricated with a three-dimensional fabrication device by rastering a deposition head 40 over a substrate 23, and additively forming part features 22 by extruding a polymer to which a continuous reinforcing material is added from the deposition head 40 onto the substrate 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
