PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a portion short of water supply in immersion is left and generates a core, and rice cannot be cooked deliciously and quickly enough.SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a rice cooker body 20; a pot 21 capable of accommodating rice; a heating coil 22 heating the pot 21; and a fan motor 31 suctioning outer air. At a predetermined time passage after the pot 21 containing rice and immersion water is heated by the heating coil 22, outer air sent from the fan motor 31 is sent into the immersion water in the pot 21. By means of the flow of the outer air sent in, the rice in the water is cooled and agitated. Then, rice grains having enhanced stickiness in the midst of gelatinization are separated from each other, water sufficiently spreads in all the rice, and immersion is completed in a short time. As a result thereof, rice can be cooked deliciously enough without a core, etc. in a short time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
