PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle detector which can acquire a speed of a vehicle traveling on a traveling path and suppresses increase of cost for installation work by preventing the scale of installation work from becoming large.SOLUTION: A vehicle detector 1 detects a vehicle by detecting reflection light of laser light emitted from above a traveling path for vehicles to travel at a first angle to the traveling direction of vehicles on the traveling path, and detects a vehicle by detecting reflection light of laser light emitted at a second angle which is different from the first angle. The vehicle detector 1 calculates a speed of a detected vehicle by using a vehicle detection result by the laser light emitted at the first angle and a vehicle detection result by the laser light emitted at the second angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
