PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flicker unevenly appearing in a screen.SOLUTION: A flicker reduction apparatus 1 includes: a frequency conversion unit 12 for converting a moving image into a signal of a frequency region including a time frequency; a flicker component estimation unit 13 for determining a time frequency corresponding to a known flicker frequency as a suppression frequency and determining suppression quantity of a frequency component of the suppression frequency from a frequency component of a time frequency neighboring the suppression frequency; a flicker removal unit 14 for generating a frequency region obtained by suppressing the frequency component of the suppression frequency in accordance with the suppression quantity; and a reverse frequency conversion unit 15 for converting a signal of the frequency region generated by the flicker removal unit 14 into a signal of a real space region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
