PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel vesicle from which microcapsules of a uniform size (particle diameter) can be prepared, and microcapsules prepared therefrom.SOLUTION: A vesicle according to the present invention has a hollow shape with an outer shell having a two-chain two-hydrophilic group type surfactant (A) having a radical-polymerizable group at each of two hydrophobic chains, and a surfactant (B) having a charge symmetric with respect to that of the two-chain two-hydrophilic group type surfactant, where an average particle diameter of the vesicles is 1 μm or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
